Fresh 48 sessions ( also called freshies) are possibly my favorite. Everything is in a hush, a liquid honey calm of newness and quiet love. The excitement comes later, the joy is deep and full. Moms are newly minted in their motherhood, dads are all trembling hands and whispered tenderness. The time in the hospital is a bubble cut out of real life, bonding, adjusting to the new normal and just breathing in that new, new, NEW baby smell.
I had the joy of capturing this little dude joining his family not that long ago and it was precious. Jules hadn't been named yet when I met him, and hadn't even met his big brother. I am so LUCKY to have my job and be let into moments like these, I was invited to watch and document big brother Remy meeting his little brother for the first time. I actually cried on the way home because it was so sweet and beautiful.
Dad was so tender and loving with his second, new son. This family is overflowing with love and it is truly special to watch. Of course, mom was head over heels for her newest baby; all heart eyes and kisses.
This darling family is in my one year plan, so I am super excited to watch this handsome little dude grow this year!
