I met Mavis way back in the summer when her mom booked me for a one year plan. Unfortunately, Mavis had already missed me for her newborns but we did a milestone right away. Then we waited a bit to grab her next big changes which led us right to her 10 month mark.
I love checking in with my one year planners because it's so much fun to see them change and grow, develop new skills and show off their new tricks. Mavis has certainly developed a lot of personality in the last few months!!
It was super brisk out so we ran back home and Mavis had a quick out fit change. The sun came out and was streaming through their front window; I couldn't help myself, I asked dad to PLEASE move the couch. We grabbed some gorgeous portraits by the window while little Mavis just explored.
This was our second in home session ( we've done a few mini's along the way also) and I begged and pleaded with mom to let me make some sink tub portraits. We had both agreed to tubby images but mom was VERY hesitant to use her sink. I basically overruled her because the light was perfection and I think that images made of sink tubs are timeless classics that we all should have.
It was such a great morning spent with this family; everyone was full of love and I genuinely cannot wait for Mavis' one year!!!!
